Preparing and Planning Ahead
Talking about death and dying can be taboo for many of us. It may seem morbid or is something we’d rather leave until later.

For many of us our own funeral might seem a long way off. However, talking with family and friends about how we’d like to be
remembered and planning the elements of a celebration of life can be incredibly helpful for those we leave behind.

It’s a conversation that needs to be carried out with care and compassion as we also need to consider what our loved ones might need as they say their final farewells.

For some there is an urgency as they struggle with life threatening illness. This highlights the need to talk about and plan for the last stages of life and for a funeral ceremony.

If you are planning for end of life, either for yourself or someone close to you, I can help you plan a ceremony so that you can leave instructions for your family about how you want them to remember and celebrate your life.

“Because talking about death is really about living with meaning, clarity, and connection.”
